It is my pleasure and honor to welcome you to an outstanding and well performing School of Molecular and Life Sciences.  To this end we have recruited competent academics and researchers who will assist you to acquire knowledge and skills you need to develop your career.  Science is often perceived to be difficulty, but those of us who have been working in the sciences understand it differently.  We have learned to demystify Science and made it simple so that those who perceive it to be difficult can learn and enjoy it.

The need for the development of Science and Technology has never been greater.   In order for us to engage meaningfully in this exercise we need students who are prepared to be committed.  As a School we have an obligation to produce the next generation of scientists who will empower the country within the field of Science and Technology Development.  To achieve this, the School has an extensive range of well-structured undergraduate academic programmes in place which are supplemented by coordinated and informed research done at postgraduate level.  We offer an internationally recognized qualification, offered by qualified teaching staff, backed by top class teaching and research facilities.

The University offers good support structures to students such as a modern library, a Student Health & Counselling Centre, a Disabled Student Centre, a Centre for Academic Excellence, Financial Aid, Accommodation, Sports and Other Recreation Facilities
