 First Things First Campaign
Students Health and Wellness Centre at the Medunsa Campus in
collaboration with Foundation for Professional Development
(FDP) will carry out a ‘First Things
First’ campaign from 23 to 24 August 2012. The
campaign aims to mobilize students and staff at HEIs across South
Africa to know their HIV status, stop HIV stigma and fight the HIV
pandemic. Testing services will be rendered at the SRC Lawn, BSC Park
and Library Lawn from 08h00 to 16h00. The Centre uses this
opportunity to raise HIV/AIDS, STIs and TB awareness and University
members are encouraged to take part in this movement. Together we can
fight stop the HIV/AIDS stigma!
