 Students make it easy for athletes
As part of their curricular; final year Physiotherapy Students
rendered their remedial services at the 2012 Bonitas-Comrades Marathon
that was held at Kwa-Zulu Natal on 3rd June 2012. Enthusiastic
athletes from all over the world ran from Pietermaritzburg to Durban –
resulting with a Limpopo born, Ludwick Mamabolo, championing the race.
Students, together with other professional physiotherapists, supplied
soothing massages and strapped runners three days prior to the race
and during the day of the race. Joyce Morton, Physiotherapy
Coordinator, acknowledged and gave words of appreciation for services
provided by University of Limpopo students each year in making the
journey short for the marathoners.
