The University of Limpopo will host the Students Representative Council (SRC) Elections 2024/25 on Monday, 09 September 2024.
The university encourages all students to demonstrate political maturity, responsible behavior, and respect for diverse political views. We hope that every student will actively engage in the elections to advocate for a fair and inclusive education system. We urge students to participate in constructive, spirited debates and discussions to ensure an honourable and dignified electoral process.
Kuteno Consulting, headed by the Chief Electoral Officer, has been appointed as the External Electoral Scrutineers.
Students are encouraged to visit the University website and check updates for information on Allstudents@keyaka.ul.ac.za as well as on their cell phone devices.

The nominations for the 2024/25 SRC Elections officially closed on Monday, 26 August 2024, at 16:00. The EES will screen the nominees for eligibility in accordance with Section 21(g) of the SRC Constitution.
Notice of the Mass Screening Meeting: 06 September 2024 at 17:00 on an online platform. The link will be shared via Keyaka student email.
VOTING TIME AND THRESHOLD
The voting will take place on Monday, 9 September 2024, and will be conducted online. Students may use any online platform to cast their votes, but only Keyaka emails are permitted for voting. The voting period will be open from 07h30 and will close at 23h00. A minimum of 5,860 votes is required for the election results to be valid.
