Message from Head of Department: Prof JJ Hlongwane
The Department of Agricultural Economics and Animal Production is one of the four Departments of the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences which offers three areas of specialisation: Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension and Animal Production. The Department offers three undergraduates, three junior postgraduates, five masters and three senior postgraduate programmes. These programmes range over many fields of specialisations which are:
- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Agricultural Economics)

- Bachelor of Agricultural Management
