2024 Remote Online Registration for First-Entering Students

NB:ALL Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students who could not register during their allocated slots have an opportunity to Register during the period 19 - 21 January 2024. Please make use of this opportunity to avoid late registration that starts on Monday 22 January 2024.

The Registration for First- Entering Students will commence on Thursday, 25 January 2024 to Friday, 02 February 2024. Late Registration for First-Entering students starts on Monday, 05 February 2024 to Friday, 09 February 2024.

The registration will be conducted strictly according to the normal working hours of the university. The University of Limpopo will re-open on 08 January 2024.

To qualify for admission at the University of Limpopo, students should possess a matriculation certificate endorsed with a bachelor’s degree accompanied by the following:

  • Registration payment: Standard Bank deposit slip or Bursary proof of payment document
  • Certified Documents
  • Original Grade 12 results
  • Identity Document
  • Faculty Letter of Acceptance
International Students should also produce: 

  • Study permit from their embassies
  • HESA Certificate
  • Medical Cover
  • Both A-level and O-level results

  • Academic admission to the University of Limpopo does not guarantee residence admission. You will receive a separate letter if you applied for admission to a residence. Residence Administration shall communicate with the students on the outcomes and status of their residence admissions and registration. Only students who have received a residence admission letter will be required to pay an upfront residence fee. Please email us at .
  • When you register, you will be required to complete, sign, and submit a formal agreement with the University of Limpopo.
  • The formal agreement includes provisions that exempt and indemnify the University and those whose conduct it is responsible for from liability arising from damages and losses you may suffer.
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian sign the required form.
  • You will be registered under the strict condition that you agree to abide by the Student Code of Conduct, the Academic Rules and Regulations of the University of Limpopo, the rules and regulations of the Faculty, and the University's policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
  • You agree to pay the prescribed fees and agree to be bound by the provisions of the formal agreement.
