The University of Limpopo is privileged to host the 48th Annual South African Association of Botanists (SAAB) Conference at the Protea Hotel Ranch Resort from 17 – 20 January 2023. This is the first time the University is afforded the opportunity to host such a prestigious event. We are proud to present the conference under the theme “Plants, Health and Prosperity”, a true diversity of the Limpopo Province.

The SAAB conference brings together experts/research scientist in the area of traditional medicine, Phytomedicine, Medicinal chemist, Botanist…..above all postgraduate students becomes the central/key as we build and develop the future of scientist in these areas.
Researchers from different institutions and areas of expertise, will present their latest work on Medicinal Plants Research, challenges being faced and their future plan of action.
