Leadership can solve most of Africa’s challenges – TGSL offers the optimum mix of relevant qualifications
MBA is a two-year programme consisting of taught modules and a mini-dissertation.
It encompasses the traditional managerial education elements and then goes beyond that to address issues of sustainability by exploring social and economic challenges facing organisations to find solutions for a sustainable future.
Thus, leaders and/or managers are forced to be broader in their vision, to be inventive and realistic about their responsibilities, and conscious of their legacy in terms of environmental sustainability and the way business is conducted.

TARGET GROUP
The main target for our MBA is executives in Public, Private and Entrepreneurial ventures.

LECTURING & LEARNING METHODOLOGY
The MBA is intended for developing individual thinking, challenge individuals to reach their potential and advance personally and in their careers.
Issues of sustainability are emphasised while at the same time focusing on management and business education.
Several learning methodologies are utilised:
- Classroom individual and group activities that include presentations by both students and lecturers.
- Individual assignments on issues that integrate practical challenges with classroom activities.
- Group work in the form of assignments and class presentations.
- An online opportunity for students to share ideas amongst themselves.
The students also enjoy academic support from lecturers who are from the Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership itself, from other universities both nationally and internationally, and from industry.
