The University of Limpopo Science Centre invites learners, students, educators, parents and members of the public to celebrate National Science Month 2026 at the Science in the Mall Outreach. The event will take place on Monday, 27 July 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00 at the Mall of the North, offering an exciting opportunity to experience science beyond the classroom through fun, educational and interactive activities.
Held under the theme, “Science, Technology and Innovation are for Everyone!”, the outreach programme aims to promote public awareness of science and inspire greater interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The initiative seeks to demonstrate how science and innovation contribute to solving everyday challenges and improving lives while encouraging young people to explore careers in scientific fields.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of live science demonstrations, hands-on experiments and engaging interactive exhibits designed to make learning enjoyable for people of all ages. The event provides a unique platform for participants to engage with scientists, educators and science communicators, while discovering the exciting world of scientific discovery and technological innovation.
