Join us for the 2025 Staff Men’s Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Dialogue, an essential workshop aimed at fostering a secure and inclusive environment within our workplace and educational settings.
Building on the momentum of our successful 2024 GBV Dialogue, this year’s discussion will specifically address the unique challenges and concerns faced by male employees, with the goal of promoting a workplace that is free from harassment and gender-based violence.
This event will focus on Pillar Six: Research and Information Management, a pivotal area led by Institutions of Higher Learning. Our discussions will align with the National Strategic Plan on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (2020–2030), ensuring that we take a comprehensive approach to understanding and mitigating these critical issues.
Under the inspiring theme, “Championing Excellence: Celebrating Men’s Contributions and Leadership,” we will explore the positive role that men can play in fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and constructive leadership within our community.
We invite all male employees to participate in this important conversation, scheduled for May 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM in R40 Conference Hall. This workshop will provide a stimulating environment for introspection, collaboration, and proactive measures aimed at enhancing the safety and well-being of all individuals in our workplace. Your participation is vital—together, we can initiate significant change and create a more supportive atmosphere for everyone.
Please be sure to mark your calendars for this important dialogue. Your voice matters, and we look forward to your valuable contributions to this critical conversation!
