The University of Limpopo (UL) is set to host the launch of a distinguished book by Dr. Mathews Phosa titled “Witness to Power: A Political Memoir.”
Mr. Thulasizwe Simelane, a seasoned broadcast journalist and anchor at SA FM, will serve as the Programme Director for the event.
Dr. Mathews Phosa is a prominent South African attorney, politician, and businessman who played a crucial role in the country’s democratic journey. He was an anti-apartheid activist and served as the former Premier of Mpumalanga, as well as a member of the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress (ANC).
In his book, Dr. Phosa chronicles his experiences during the significant political changes in South Africa, offering a unique perspective on the dramatic shifts in power within the country.
