The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Limpopo (UL) invites postgraduate students, academics, and various stakeholders to engage in the 2025 Spring Lectures. This annual event serves as a platform for critical intellectual discourse, focusing specifically on the theme of repositioning Africa amidst the complex and evolving local and global contexts.
In light of ongoing health crises, economic challenges, and the intricate effects of globalisation and technological growth, African societies are faced with significant issues that require innovative and interdisciplinary approaches.
Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts that relate to the conference theme: “Repositioning Africa in the Labyrinth of Local and Global Economic, Educational, Social and Political Dynamics.” While submissions should align with this theme, they are not limited to the outlined subthemes, as long as they are pertinent to the overall topic.
