The University of Limpopo’s Computer Science Department is excited to host a public lecture to equip students with practical insights into the dynamic world of software engineering and technical computing.

The lecture will feature Mr. Tshepo Monama, an innovative and visionary professional in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
With over 18 years of robust experience in software development, research, and digital transformation, his career spans various sectors, including financial services, trading, and government. Mr. Monama possesses a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, particularly in modernizing legacy systems and implementing agile development strategies. He has a proven track record in designing and delivering groundbreaking digital solutions that cater to both private and public sector needs.
Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Software Engineering at Wits University, fueling his dedication to fostering technology-driven innovation that aligns with South Africa’s ambitious National Development Plan (NDP 2030). This lecture is an exceptional opportunity for students to learn from a leader in the field and gain inspiration for their own futures in technology and entrepreneurship.
