Faculty of Management and Law and the Limpopo Legislature Colloquium: ’30 Years of Democracy, Partnerships and Growth in Limpopo’

The University of Limpopo and the Limpopo Legislature are pleased to announce a collaborative initiative following the Memorandum of Understanding established during Honourable Rudolph Phala’s speakership from 2009 to 2013. This partnership is dedicated to enhancing the educational and developmental objectives of the province.

In celebration of 30 years of democratic governance in South Africa, the two organizations will jointly host a one-day colloquium titled “30 Years of Democracy, Partnerships, and Growth in Limpopo.”

The colloquium will facilitate a public dialogue aimed at both honoring and critically assessing the accomplishments of the past three decades.

Key topics of discussion will include the challenges currently facing our province, strategies for fostering economic growth, the role of higher education institutions and oversight bodies in advancing democracy, as well as a comprehensive reflection on the impact of 30 years of democratic governance in Limpopo. We look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions that will contribute to our community’s progress.
