Africana Collection (Turfloop Campus Library)

The Africana Library houses a special collection relating to Africa. The purpose is to develop a knowledge-base about Africa for research purposes. The University’s theses and dissertations are also kept in this collection, which is on the ground floor of the library and operates on a closed stack system. Material can only be borrowed for two hours.

Archives (Turfloop Campus Library)

The Archives section has been established to appraise, collect, organize, make available and preserve records of historical, legal, fiscal, and administrative value to the Turfloop Campus of the University of Limpopo.
The collection includes material concerned with the University’s administration, staff, and students, functions, history, and development.
The Archives Section is placed in the library, presently attached to the Africana Section.

The collection is situated on the Second Floor and operates on a closed stack system.
