The University of Limpopo has officially opened its online academic applications for the year 2027, welcoming prospective students to submit their applications for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This application period began on April 1st, and interested individuals are encouraged to engage with the different academic offerings available. To ensure a smooth application process, it is advisable for applicants to review the specific requirements for their chosen programmes.
Requirements for Studying at the University of Limpopo
- To qualify for degree studies (bachelor’s degree), you must have a National Senior Certificate or a National Vocational Certificate with an endorsement permitting entrance, or a recognised equivalent qualification.
- It is essential to meet all the minimum admission requirements for the programme you wish to pursue. Please note that meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission, as space in each programme is limited.
For Undergraduate Applicants: Before selecting a qualification, please refer to the 2027 Undergraduate Prospectus to ensure you meet all necessary requirements.
For Postgraduate Applicants: Please consult the 2027 Postgraduate Prospectus for details.
To apply online, you need access to the Internet and a valid email address. Please ensure that you:
- Please write your names exactly as they appear on your identity or passport document.
- Indicate your first and second choice degrees (if applicable).
- Fill out the residence section if you wish to stay on-campus.
- Ensure that you complete all steps before submitting your application. This includes sections on accommodation and financial aid—please indicate this in the relevant areas.
