The University of Limpopo is proud to invite academics, researchers, innovators, postgraduate students, industry professionals, government representatives and development partners to participate in the 11th Collaboration Symposium 2026. The symposium will take place on 01–02 October 2026 from 09:00 to 16:00 at the R-40 Conference Hall, University of Limpopo.
Held under the theme, “From Collaboration to Impact: Multidisciplinary Pathways to Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Societal Transformation,” the symposium seeks to strengthen partnerships across disciplines and sectors while showcasing innovative research that addresses societal challenges. The event will provide an engaging platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and the creation of collaborative initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and socio-economic transformation.
The symposium will feature presentations and discussions centred on a range of contemporary sub-themes, including Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation; Emerging Technologies and Digital Transformation; Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation; Governance, Law and Policy; and Sustainable Development and Societal Impact. Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas, establish strategic partnerships, and explore practical solutions that translate research into meaningful impact.
Researchers and scholars are encouraged to submit abstracts and be part of this exciting academic gathering. Abstract submissions close on 31 July 2026, with acceptance notifications to be issued by 17 August 2026. The registration deadline is 2 September 2026.
The symposium welcomes participants from higher education institutions, research councils, government departments, industry and civil society who are passionate about advancing collaborative research and innovation for the benefit of society.
