The University of Limpopo School of Law invites academics, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, postgraduate students, and professionals to submit abstracts for the 3rd TURF Law Conference, which will be held on 29–30 October 2026 at the University of Limpopo.
This year’s conference will be held under the theme: “Critical Perspectives on South Africa’s Immigration Law Amid the Pursuit of Africa’s Unity and Prosperity.” The conference seeks to foster meaningful dialogue on the evolving landscape of immigration law and its implications for regional integration, human rights, governance, and socio-economic development across the African continent. It provides a platform for participants to critically engage with contemporary legal challenges, share innovative research, and contribute to policy and legislative discussions that promote justice, unity, and sustainable development.
The School of Law welcomes original abstracts from scholars and practitioners across various legal and interdisciplinary fields whose work aligns with the conference theme. Selected presenters will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts, expand their professional networks, and contribute to impactful conversations shaping the future of immigration law and African integration.
